Comments:
This replica by Gamo of
the famous S&W Model 19 has walnut wood grips and is known as
the R-77 Classic. Gamo discontinued this model in early 2006 but
continued to make the version with the Santoprene grips (R-77
Combat).
Gamo discontinued all of their revolvers except the R-77 Combat
(4") in early 2006.
Performance:
Measurements were made on
8/01/06 at a temperature of 86 ºF and 14' elevation. A ten shot string was fired
from a bench rest at 15' using Crosman Premier Super Match
pellets (7.9 gr).
The highest velocity measured was 387 fps, the lowest was 304 fps
(average of the 10-shot string was 340 fps). A six shot string
