Comments:
This is a fun gun to shoot even
though accuracy suffers due to the short barrel. It balances
very well and has a nice kick when fired. This grip style for
the R-77 was discontinued when the R-77 Combat was introduced.
Gamo discontinued all of their revolvers except the R-77 Combat
(4") in early 2006.
Performance:
Measurements were made on
8/01/06 at a temperature of 86 ºF and 14' elevation. A ten shot string was fired
from a bench rest at 15' using Crosman Premier Super Match
pellets (7.9 gr). The highest velocity measured was 316 fps, the
lowest was 253 fps (average of the 10-shot string was 275 fps). A
five shot string
