Comments:
This
airsoft pistol is a high quality all-metal replica of the Beretta 92 semi-automatic.
This gun is distributed by Palco Sports as part of their
FirePower line, but it is made by HFC and is identical to the
HFC M190. The safety lever acts as a selector switch for firing
in single-action or full-auto. The gun has very good accuracy
when using Marushin BBs (0.25 g) and excellent shot-to-shot
velocity stability. The trigger pull is a little heavy, but it
is very smooth. I replaced the original black
plastic grips with plastic wood-grain grips and stripped the
paint from the outer barrel since it was already starting to get
badly scratched from scraping against the frame. The HFC-190
produces very consistent shot-to-shot velocities and has a much
softer recoil than most other GBBs with metal slides.
Review of HFC M190
Performance:
Measurements were made on
5/21/07 at a temperature of 77 ºF and 14' elevation. A ten shot
string was fired from a bench rest at 15' using Marushin MaxiBBs (0.25 g) and Green Gas (Bestek).
The highest velocity measured was 300 fps and the lowest was 293 fps
(average of the 10-shot string was 297 fps). A six shot string
fired from a rest using a red dot sight, Marushin MaxiBBs (.25 g), and
Green Gas grouped at 0.67". Click the thumbnails below to see larger images.
