Comments:
Made by Gamo in Spain for RWS Diana. This gun is similar to the Gamo R-77
Classic but uses a Diana manufactured rifled steel barrel.
Unlike the Gamo models, the under-barrel lug on the Diana only
extends half-way down the barrel. The
trigger is gritty, but this is getting better with use. The
accuracy is good, but not outstanding. The performance of this
gun is nearly identical to the Gamo R-77 Classic (6") from
which it is derived. The addition of the Diana barrel does not
seem to have improved the performance over the stock Gamo R-77.
Performance:
Measurements were made on
8/29/06 at a temperature of 89 ºF and 14' elevation. A ten shot string was fired
from a bench rest at 15' using JSB Match Diabolo pellets (8.0 gr).
The highest velocity measured was 419 fps, the lowest was 343 fps
(average of the 10-shot string was 365 fps). A six shot string
