Comments: This was Daisy’s first semi-auto pellet pistol. It is built from a higher grade plastic than was used in the later 6XX series and has the Beretta logo molded into the grip. It is a very good replica of the Beretta 92F and even though it is plastic, it feels solid in hand. Its adjustable sights make it a good plinker. It has a heavy trigger pull in DA, which affects its accuracy. I bought this airgun in 1988 and it is the second pellet gun I ever owned. These are getting hard to find in working condition. This one has a pretty low serial number.

Performance: Measurements were made on 8/28/06 at a temperature of 86 ºF and 14' elevation. A ten shot string was fired from a bench rest at 15' using JSB Match Diabolo pellets (8.0 gr). The highest velocity measured was 406 fps, the lowest was 359 fps (average of the 10-shot string was 380 fps). A six shot string fired with open sights grouped at 1.48". Loading Pellets: The loading mechanism of the Daisy 92 requires use of wadcutter (flat-nosed) pellets to avoid jamming. Pellets are loaded in an internal magazine with a removable spring follower. An accessory "Speed Loader" (shown in photo) assists with getting the pellets loaded properly. The gun will not fire if there are no pellets in the magazine. To dry fire the gun, remove the magazine follower.
