Comments:
This was Daisy’s first semi-auto pellet pistol. It is built from
a higher grade plastic than was used in the later 6XX series and
has the Beretta logo molded into the grip. It is a very good
replica of the Beretta 92F and even though it is plastic, it
feels solid in hand. Its adjustable sights
make it a good plinker. It has a heavy trigger pull in DA, which
affects its accuracy. I bought this airgun in 1988 and it is
the second pellet gun I ever owned. These are getting hard to
find in working condition. This one has a pretty low serial
number.
Performance:
Measurements were made on
8/28/06 at a temperature of 86 ºF and 14' elevation. A ten shot string was fired
from a bench rest at 15' using JSB Match Diabolo pellets (8.0 gr).
The highest velocity measured was 406 fps, the lowest was 359 fps
(average of the 10-shot string was 380 fps). A six shot string
