Comments: This is one of the few semi-auto replica repeaters ever made to fire 22 caliber  pellets and the only one ever made by Daisy. The gun is advertised as Model 622X but is marked 622. The deep circular magazine allows the use of pointed pellets. Even though the gun is made entirely of plastic, it still has a good feel and an excellent single/double-action trigger. It’s too bad that this gun does not have an adjustable rear sight.  This gun was discontinued in 2004 and is now getting pretty hard to find.

Loading Pellets: A magazine must be in the breech before firing the gun with a CO2 charge. Otherwise, the barrel will flip up and may damage the barrel latch. Notice that, like on the Model 500, the rear side of the barrel is still labeled "OPEN", even though there is now a spring-loaded latch for releasing the barrel.
