This gun has true semi-auto operation.
Blowback action cocks the pistol after every shot. An all black Powerline 400 was manufactured
from 1994-1997. When the powerlet is
running low, the gun has a tendency to fire multiple times with
each pull of the trigger. This gun is fun to shoot, but is not
very accurate.
Performance:
Measurements were made on
8/13/06 at a temperature of 81 ºF and 14' elevation. A ten shot string was fired
from a bench rest at 15' using Crosman Copperhead BBs (5.1 gr).
The highest velocity measured was 392 fps, the lowest was 328 fps
(average of the 10-shot string was 362 fps). A six shot string
