Comments:
In 2006, Crosman released
more new CO2-powered
pistols than at any other time in their history (2300S, 2300T,
1088, C11, Pro77, and T4). Of these, only the T4 is a replica of
an existing firearm (Glock 19). With the T4, Crosman introduced
a new and innovative cartridge piercing system and an 8-shot
rotary magazine that accepts both pellets and steel BBs (using
magnets). This gun is very pointable, has a solid
feel, and is fun to shoot, although the accuracy isn't what I
had hoped for. The magazine loading port doesn't provide any
alignment for the magazine when it is dropped in, which could
lead to misfires. (Note
from Crosman about new models for 2007.)
Performance:
Measurements were made on
12/07/06 at a temperature of 62 ºF and 14' elevation. A ten shot
string was fired from a bench rest at 15' using JSB Match
Diabolo pellets (7.4 gr).
The highest velocity measured was 379 fps, the lowest was 358 fps
(average of the 10-shot string was 365 fps). A six shot string
fired with open sights grouped at 0.85". Click the thumbnail below to see a
larger image.
