Comments:
This is a continuation of the Hahn/Crosman Model 45. It holds 6 BBs in
the rotating cylinder and 12 more in the spring-loaded feed
tube. The staghorn-like grips of the Model 45 gave way to wood
grips on the Model 36 and the half-cock hammer position
available on the 45 was eliminated on the 36. The Model 36
marked the end of the line for the Colt 1873 SAA-style BB gun
that Crosman started with the Hahn 45 back in 1958.
Performance:
Measurements were made on 11/05/06 at
a temperature of 65 ºF and 14' elevation. A ten shot string was
fired from a bench rest at 15' using Crosman Copperhead BBs (5.1
gr). The highest velocity measured was 323 fps, the lowest was
310 fps (average of the 10-shot string was 319 fps). A six shot
string fired with open sights grouped at 1.56". Click the
