Comments: The Crosman 3357 (Spot Marker) uses the same frame as other revolvers in the 357 series (which is why it is part of my collection), but has been modified to use 50 cal paintballs. This airgun saw limited use by construction crews for marking trees but never gained favor among paintball enthusiasts. It is an interesting example of Crosman's attempt to get as much mileage as possible from the 357 design.

Loading Paintballs: A weak point of this design is the latch that holds the barrel closed. This loosens over time resulting in a floppy barrel and is a common point of failure. To accommodate removing the longer cylinder used for paintballs, Crosman had to file off part of the frame just forward of the barrel hinge. From the barrel hinge back, this gun is pure Crosman 357.
