Comments:
This is a pretty good shooter for the price.
However, the trigger is really soft with a poorly defined break
point in both single-action and double-action shooting. It has a
fully adjustable rear sight and good accuracy. Crosman
discontinued the Model 1008 in late 2006.
Performance:
Measurements were made on
8/10/06 at a temperature of 83 ºF and 14' elevation. A ten shot
string was fired from a bench rest at 15' using RWS
Meisterkugeln Pistol & Rifle pellets (7.8 gr). The highest
velocity measured was 399 fps, the lowest was 339 fps (average
of the 10-shot string was 368 fps). A six shot string
